Mitch Renshaw is the founder of Sqew, a modern shawarma brand redefining traditional Middle Eastern street food in the UK.
Founded in 2015, Sqew opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Leeds city centre in 2022, followed by Deansgate, Manchester in 2025. The brand quickly gained national recognition, winning Best Kebab at the British Kebab Awards and Deliveroo Restaurant Awards, and finishing runner-up for Restaurant of the Year at the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Award.
